Tara Tomerine

Tara is passionately inspired to contribute to the health and happiness of others and loves sharing yoga to alleviate the stresses of everyday life. Her classes integrate the fundamentals of a safe and intelligent practice. They emphasize proper body alignment via the use of props, such as blankets or blocks, to make the poses accessible and comfortable. The practice of yoga relieves painful weight from joints, releases tension knots, and lengthens and strengthens the muscles and the spine. A little movement creates a lot of space which provides freedom from pain, while a long exhale extends our reach and often serves as the bridge to peace.

Tara continues to study with the Iyengar Yoga Association of the Southeast and is drawn to the benefits of a therapeutic, alignment-oriented yoga practice. She is thankful to have acquired life-changing tools from wonderful teachers. She also blends her passion for aerial yoga with traditional practice for a fun and lighthearted experience. Tara believes a smile is the best stretch of all.
